CyberGuard Firewall/VPN V6.2.1 Receives Common Criteria Certification
Secure Computing Corp. revealed that its CyberGuard firewall/VPN v6.2.1, received the Common Criteria Certification EAL4+ using the US Department of Defense Application-level firewall Protection Profile for Medium Robustness Environments.
The company stated that to achieve this higher level of Protection Profile compliance, CyberGuard TSP was subjected to and passed months of rigorous government-defined independent vulnerability analysis and penetration testing required by the US Common Criteria Scheme.
Secure Computing noted that CyberGuard TSP and the Sidewinder G2 Security Appliance are the only firewalls on the market to complete this testing as application.
