We are also talking about a new survey we have carried out regarding school children using networking sites.  This initially came about after I spent a day at a local public school speaking to pupils about Internet ethics.  When asked how many had visited social networking sites during their lessons, it was surprising how many raised their hands!  After this, we were determined to uncover if this was common amongst all school children.  Read our interesting results below.

We value your feedback and if you have any suggestions or improvements you would like to see, please email me with your comments.

Reader Q&A

Advantages of UTM systems

This month Emily from Kent asked for some advice around Unified Threat Management (UTM).  "We are considering looking at some UTM systems to serve our network's overall needs over our current single-purpose hardware.  For a small to medium sized business like ours, cost is a significant factor.  Can you explain any advantages of selecting UTM systems?"  Paul Emmerson, President at GTA, has provided some advice.
