Remote firewall Administration
Administering multiple firewalls across a distributed network is no longer a complex process. Whether the firewalls are located in the same office or around the world, complete configurations or individual security policies can be easily controlled and managed from a central location with GB Commander. Security policy revisions can be applied to either a single firewall or globally to a group of firewalls, which makes it easy to maintain uniform corporate security standards. Administrators of GTA firewall UTM systems running GB-OS will be familiar with configuration settings as they define, edit, and distribute security policies for a single monitored firewall or across hundreds of
monitored GTA firewall UTM systems.
Interactive Monitoring Features
Administrators can view a snapshot of monitored firewall performance by using GB Commander's status summary screen. These powerful monitoring features display network events as they happen with data in chart and graph formats, providing administrators with an at-a-glance overview of a system's status including GB-OS version, firewall status, active connections, alarm count, CPU usage, memory usage, and bandwidth. As time progresses, system usage and bandwidth charts expand to provide historical references for accurate trend analysis.
Alarm Observation and Notifcation
GB Commander monitors firewall status and alarms in real-time to provide an instant overview that accurately portrays network events. The platform-independent client displays alerts and can send notifications as they happen, allowing administrators to take preventative action and resolve issues as they occur. Administrators can control the frequency and method of alarm notifi cations for individual firewalls or firewall groups.
Remote GB-OS Updates
Keeping all firewalls on a distributed network up-to-date with system upgrades is simplified using GB-Commander's GB-OS upgrade feature. GB Commander actively monitors for published updates of GB-OS system software and alerts the administrator when new versions are available. Using GB Commander's intuitive interface the updates can be downloaded and be applied to individual firewalls, or to multiple firewalls simultaneously.

Accessing stored GTA firewall log information for comparative purposes is a simple process. The GTA firewall Control Center
The GTA firewall Control Center is a service that acts as the central hub for all of GTA's network monitoring products. It offers a single point of access to all GTA firewalls on your distributed network. With GB Commander, the firewall Control Center consists of the GB Commander Client, the GB Commander Database Backend and the firewall Control Center Server. The GB Commander Client is a platform-independent Java-based client that is used to administer firewalls and run reports using data stored on the GB Commander Database Backend. Launched from the firewall Control Center Server, the GB Commander Client is the end user's access point to the firewall Control Center's data.

GB Commander transforms the often cumbersome task of managing multiple firewalls in different locations into an effortless process with its user-friendly firewall organization options. Organizations can group firewalls according to departments. Managed service providers can group firewalls to match their services.
