Lumension Developers Kit is a powerful tool which allows you to create specialised content which will:

Lumension Developers Kit works in unison with Lumension Patch and Remediation™, to respond to the growing number of threats that target hardware and software configuration errors, or software vulnerabilities for which there is not a publicly available patch. Lumension Developers Kit's Wizard Based Content Authoring allows an organisation to develop and deploy custom software patches for home-grown applications, or legacy software that is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Wizard Based Content Authoring not only guides you through the patch process but allows simplified and automated creation of fingerprints based on the patch that is being uploaded.
How it Works
Custom software patch content creation and distribution simplified using Lumension Developers Kit:
- Custom configuration and software remediation packages are created using Lumension Developers Kit, either from scratch or by any patches within the enterprise's patching repository (Premier edition only)
- Custom remediation content is seamlessly uploaded to Lumension Patch and Remediation Server
- Utilise Lumension Patch and Remediation to assess applicability of your custom packages across your enterprise
- Deploy your custom content to all managed endpoints using standard Lumension Patch and Remediation deployment tools
- Validate, audit and report custom patch effectiveness
