
3e-527A3 Wireless Mesh Access Point
The AirGuard model 3e-527A3 is an 802.11b/g AP, 802.11a bridge, and an 8-port secure Ethernet switch. With DoD-proven security and easy-to-use mesh networking, it is suited for government, military, industrial, mobile, and metropolitan-area wireless infrastructures.

The AirGuard 3e–527A3 mesh networking capability supports up to 40 nodes. The 400mW 802.11a bridge has a typical 2 mile range with an 8dBi omni-directional antenna and up to a 32 mile range with a 21dBi directional antenna. The 200mW b/g AP offers extended WLAN for up to 255 users.
The 3e–527A3 provides both wired and wireless security with FIPS 140-2 validated™ crypto modules. For wireless, it offers 802.11i and other advanced security features such as 256-bit AES and DoD PKI. The 8-port switch also has encryption and authenication to protect the wired connections.
The 3e–527A3 meets harsh environment requirements such as water, temperature, vibration, and shock.
